1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Formulate (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Formulate is a browser extension that utilizes speech-to-text and AI APIs to convert spoken words into mathematical notation (LaTeX, MathML). You understand that transcription accuracy may vary based on microphone quality, pronunciation, and API availability.

3. Subscriptions and Credits

• One-Time Credits: "Pay As You Go" AI credits are non-refundable once purchased and used. Unused credits do not expire.
• Subscriptions: Monthly subscriptions (Student, Pro) bill automatically. You may cancel at any time via the billing portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
• Refunds: We do not offer prorated refunds for canceled subscriptions. If you experience technical issues, please contact support.

4. Third-Party Services

Formulate relies on third-party services including Google Chrome's Web Speech API and OpenAI's API. We are not responsible for downtimes or rate limits imposed by these third parties.

5. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, attempt to abuse the API, or issue fraudulent chargebacks.
